6.4.3 TOTAL NUMBER OF FIELDS
Data can be divided into at most 6 fields; each of them is numbered from F1 to F6
accordingly. However, only F1~ F5 can be configured.
The t otal num ber of fields m ust be specified correct ly. I f three fields are configured
for the editing form at, the dat a characters aft er F3 will be assigned to F4
aut om at ically. This feat ure is quite useful especially when dat a of variable lengt hs is
processed by editing form at s.

Not e: The num ber of configurable fields is always one less t han t he t otal num ber of
fields specified. The extra dat a charact ers beyond the last field configured will be
automat ically assigned to t he next field.
