Quick Start
ENTER CONFIGURATION MODE
For the scanner t o enter the configuration m ode, read the "Ent er Set up" barcode, which
can be located at the bottom of alm ost every even page of t his m anual.
 The scanner will respond wit h six beeps and its LED indicat or will becom e flashing red
after reading the barcode.

For configuring scanner param et ers, see “ Read a Set up Barcode” below.
EXIT CONFIGURATION MODE
For the scanner t o save set t ings and exit the configuration m ode, read the “Update”
barcode, which can be locat ed at t he bot t om of alm ost every odd page of t his m anual.
Exit the configuration m ode without saving any changes; read the “ Abort ” barcode
instead.
 Just like reading t he “ Ent er Set up” barcode, the scanner will respond with six beeps
and its LED indicator will becom e flashing red after reading the barcode. Wait for a
few seconds for t he scanner to restart it self.
