You m ay configure t he form at of t he collect ed data out put to the host computer.
Barcodes read by the scanner will be processed in t he following sequence
1) Perform charact er subst it ution on t he data scanned.
2) Add
Code I D and Length Code to the front of the dat a: [Code ID][Length Code][Data]
3) Process t he whole data in step 2 wit h user form at s. Data is now divided into fields by
user specified rules. Refer to
Chapt er 6 Applying Form ats for Dat a Editing.
4) Add
Prefix Code and Suffix Code before t ransm ission: [Prefix Code][Processed
Data][Suffix Code]

By default, the alphabet ics t ransm ission is case-sensitive, m eaning t hat t he alphabet will
be transm it t ed according to their original case. I gnoring the original let t er case, select
[ Upper Case] t o output data in upper case only; ot herwise, select [ Lower Case] to out put
data in lower case only.
