5.6.2 ACTIVATE THE CONCATENATION OF BARCODES
By default, the output sequence edit ing of t he concat enat ion of barcodes is not applied.
When “ Enforce Out put Sequence” is enabled, all barcodes read by the scanner m ust m eet
with t he crit eria for t he concat enat ion. I f data is found excluded from all output sequence
sets (= not m eet ing with the criteria) , the scanner will not accept t he reading, and
therefore, data will not be transm it ted.
When “ Apply Output Sequence” is enabled, only barcodes found m eet ing wit h the crit eria
are count ed for t he concat enat ion. Those found not meet ing wit h the crit eria ar e
processed norm ally and individually.
Not e: When it requires reading m ore barcodes to com plet e the “ output sequence”
requirem ent s, t he scanner will respond wit h one short beep (low tone). After
reading an acceptable barcode, its LED indicator will becom e solid green and go off
(= Good Read).
Upon com pletion of reading acceptable barcodes, the scanner will respond wit h
one short beep ( high t one) and its LED indicat or will becom e solid green and go off
(= Good Read).

Warning: When you disable t he Mult i-Barcode Editor lat er, t he scan m ode rem ains
unchanged. I f Laser m ode is not desired, proceed to select a scan m ode
that best suits your applicat ion.
