The 1663 unit (FCC I D: Q3N- 1663) com plies with FCC radiation exposure lim its set fort h
for uncont rolled environm ent and m eets the FCC radio frequency ( RF) Exposure
Guidelines in Supplem ent C to OET65. The unit has very low level of RF energy that it is
deem ed t o com ply wit hout t esting of specific absorption ratio (SAR).
The 3610 unit (FCC I D: Q3N- 3610) com plies with FCC radiation exposure lim its set fort h
for an uncont rolled environm ent . This equipm ent should be installed and operat ed wit h
m inimum dist ance 20 cm bet ween the radiator & body. I t only operated in hand- held
used. I f only t ransfer data t o t he host cordless, please keep the m inim um distance 20 cm
between m achine & body.

The use of any bat teries or charging devices, which are not originally sold or
m anufact ured by CipherLab, will void your warranty and m ay cause dam age t o
hum an body or the product it self.
DO NOT disassem ble, incinerate or short circuit the battery.
DO NOT expose t he scanner or t he battery to any flam m able sources.
For green- environm ent issue, it's im port ant t hat bat t eries should be recycled in a
proper way.
Under no circum stances, int ernal com ponent s are self-serviceable.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Use a clean cloth to wipe dust off t he scanning window and t he body of the scanner
as well as the charging device. DO NOT use/ m ix any bleach or cleaner.
I f you want t o put away the scanner for a period of t ime, download t he collected data
to a host com puter when in t he m em ory m ode, and then take out t he bat t ery. Store
the scanner and batt ery separat ely.
When t he scanner resum es it s work, m ake sure the battery is fully charged before
use.
I f you shall find the scanner m alfunctioning, writ e down the specific scenario and
consult your local sales represent ative.
