Change Symbology Settings
4.3.4 CODE LENGTH QUALIFICATION
To prevent the "short scan" error, define the "Lengt h Qualificat ion" sett ings to ensure
that the correct barcode is read by qualifying the allowable code lengt h.
I f "Max/ Min Length" is select ed, the m axim um length and t he m inim um length m ust
be specified. I t only accepts t hose barcodes wit h lengths t hat fall between m ax/ m in
lengths specified.
I f “ Fixed Length” is select ed, up t o 2 fixed lengths can be specified.
10) Read the barcode t o enable either Max. / Min. Length qualificat ion or Fixed Length(s)
qualification.
