TCP Parameter Changes
To change TCP parameters in the Windows registry, use the registry parameters shown in Figure 20-14
as an example.
Setting the Tcp1323Opts (circled in green) to 3, sets two bits on, one for window scaling and the other
for the time-stamp option. We are only interested in the window scaling here.
Caution Editing the registry is a very high risk operation, it can render the system unusable, requiring a
reinstallation of the entire operating system. Only advanced users should perform this operation.
Displaying the Gigabit Ethernet Interface
Choose Switches > Interfaces > Gigabit Ethernet using Fabric Manager to view the Gigabit Ethernet
status.
Or use the show interface CLI command to view the Gigabit Ethernet status (see Example 20-2).
