Network Encryption
Specify whether to encrypt network communications.
Click [Network Encryption] under [Security] to display the window.
HINT
When operating with PaperStream NX Manager, the setting for the scanner must be the same as the setting
in PaperStream NX Manager/Scanner Central Admin Server.
For details, refer to the PaperStream NX Manager User's Guide/the Scanner Central Admin User's Guide.
Encryption Off (HTTP)
This is a transmission method prioritizing the scanning speed.
This is the factory default setting.
Encryption On (HTTPS)
This is a transmission method prioritizing the security. The scanning speed is slow with this setting.
[Apply to the scanner] button
Applies the configured settings.
