How to Use Function Selection
This section explains the Function Selection.
When you press the [ ] button/[ ] button in the [Ready] screen, the [Function Selection] screen is displayed.
By using Function Selection, you can configure an image scanning application to be started up when the [Scan/
Enter] button is pressed in the [Ready] screen.
A button on the computer must be configured to start up an image scanning application in advance.
For details, refer to Pressing a Button on the Scanner in order to Start an Image Scanning Application and Perform a
Scan (page 97).
The indicator displays the number selected in the [Function Selection] screen.
If you select [No.02] in the [Function Selection] screen, the indicator displays [F02].
HINT
The application number does not appear when the scanner is operated with PaperStream NX Manager.
