Exporting the Scanner Settings
Scanner Central Admin Server allows you to manage scanners that are operated with PaperStream NX Manager.
Also, Scanner Central Admin Server allows you to distribute and apply the scanner settings to other scanners.
This section explains how to export the scanner settings that you want to distribute to other scanners.
For details about how to distribute the scanner settings to other scanners by using Scanner Central Admin Server,
refer to the Scanner Central Admin User's Guide.

You can also import the scanner settings to other scanners in [Import the Scanner Setting Information] in fi Series
Network Settings.
For details, refer to Import the Scanner Setting Information (page 417).
The following shows the items of the scanner settings and the exporting procedure.
Items of the Scanner Settings
The scanner settings include the following:
● The scanner settings that are set in fi Series Network Settings
Note that the following settings cannot be exported:
- Scanner name
- Wired LAN

Exporting Procedure
Export the scanner settings in the following procedure:
1 Configure the scanner settings in fi Series Network Settings.
For details, refer to Network Settings (fi Series Network Settings) [fi-8190/fi-8290/fi-8170/fi-8270/fi-8150/
fi-8250] (page 399).
2 Export the scanner settings in [Export the Scanner Setting Information] in fi Series Network Settings.
For details, refer to Export the Scanner Setting Information (page 416).
