Scanning Documents Larger than A4/Letter Size
The optional Carrier Sheet can be used to scan documents larger than A4/Letter size, such as A3 or B4.
Fold a document in half and place it inside the Carrier Sheet.
1 Place the document inside the Carrier Sheet.
a Fold the document in half so that the sides to be scanned are facing out.
Fold it firmly and smooth out any creases.
The document may be fed skewed if the folded part is too thick.

b Open the Carrier Sheet to place the document inside.
Note that the front side of the Carrier Sheet has a black and white pattern at the top and a thick
vertical line in the upper right-hand corner.
