Field Description
Local IP Address
Enter the IP address to be used as the source address for this
GRE connection.
Route Entries
Define other routing entries for this connection partner.
Add a new entry with Add.
• Remote IP Address: IP address of the destination host or
network.
• Netmask: Netmask of Remote IP Address. If no entry is
made, your device uses a default netmask.
• Metric: The lower the value, the higher the priority of the
route (possible values 0... 15). The default value is 1.
MTU
Enter the maximum packet size (Maximum Transfer Unit, MTU)
in bytes that is allowed for the GRE connection between the
partners.
Possible values are 1 to 8192.
The default value is 1500.
Use Key
Enable the key input for the GRE connection, which makes it
possible to distinguish between several parallel GRE connec-
tions between two GRE partners (see RFC 1701).
The key is activated with Enable.
The function is disabled by default.
Key Value
Only if Use Key is enabled.
Enter the GRE connection key.
Possible values are 0 to 2147483647.
The default value is 0.
