●TheVleadplaysacriticalroleinpacemakerdetection.
Selectingthepacemakerdetection
Pacemakerdetectionmustbeturnedon.However,youmaydisablepacemakerevent
processingbyturningoffpacemakerdetection.Whenpacemakerdetectionisturned
off,themonitoringdeviceignorespacemakerpulsedetections,whichmayadversely
affecttheheartrateaccuracyofthemonitoringdevice.
1.SelecttheHRparameterwindow.
2.SelectAdvanced>Page1.
3.SelectavaluefromthePacemakerDetectionlist.
●Sensitive(Pace2):Includespacemakermarkerpulsesinthewaveformwitha
moresensitivelowerthresholdonthepacepulseamplitude.
●Normal(Pace1):Detectsanddrawspacemakermarkerpulsesinthe
waveform.Thedetectionislesssensitivetoelectromagneticinterference.This
optionisrecommendedwhentheinterferencelevelishigh,forexampledue
toanLVADdeviceorinfusionpumps.
●Off:Pacemakerpulsearenotdetectedormarkedwithpacemakermarker
bars.Pacemakerpulsesareshownastheyappearinthewaveformsignal.
