Theselectedeldturnsyellow,indicatingthatyoucanbeginenteringthetext.
2.Enterdatabyselectingthecharactersusingthetouchscreen.
Abouttheuserdefaultsettings
Userdefaultsettingsmeanthosesettings(likeproles)thattheuserhassavedinto
themonitortoreplacethefactorydefaultsettings.Themonitorusesthesesettings
whenitisturnedon,afterapoweroffsituationthatlastsmorethan2hours,orafter
apatientisdischarged/caseisreset.Iftherearenouserdefaultsettings,factory
defaultsettingsareused.
Aboutproles
Whenyoustartmonitoringapatient,youcanusethestartupprole(setduring
conguration)orselectanotherprole.Accordingtotheconguration,yoursoftware
mayhaveuptoeightprolestochoosefrom.Prolescontrolmanysettings,including
parameterdefaults,alarmdetectionlimits,andalarmfunctionality.
ProlesaresetandchangestothemaresavedthroughMonitorSetup>Defaults&
Service>DefaultSetup>SaveProles,andtheyarepasswordprotected.

Selectingaprole
Monitoringstartswiththestartupprole,butyoucanselectanotherproleaccording
toyourneeds.Youcanalsochangetheprolewhilemonitoringapatientwithout
losinganypatientdata.
1.Selecttheinformationareaonthescreen.
2.SelectthePatienttab.
3.SelectaprolefromtheProlelist.
Ifyoumakechangestoaprolewhileusingitandneedtoreturntoitsprevious
settings,rstselectanotherproleandthenre-selecttheoneyouwereusing.Ifonly
oneprolehasbeenenabledduringconguration,theonlywaytoreturntosaved
prolesettingsisthroughpatientdischarge/caseendordevicereset.
