theDEMOmodebyrestartingthedeviceorthroughMonitor
Setup>Defaults&Service>ExitDEMO.IftheDEMOmode
isactivewhenyoustartmonitoring,thereisariskoflossof
monitoringandmissedalarms.

MISINTERPRETATIONOFDATA.ToidentifytheDEMOmode
data,specialattentionshouldalwaysbepaidtotheDEMO
modeindications(likeDEMOPatientname,DEMOMRN
identication).Otherwisethereisariskofmisinterpretingthe
DEMOmodedataasactualclinicaldata.
CAUTION
DISCHARGETOCLEARPATIENTDATA.Whenadmittinganew
patient/startinganewcase,youmustclearallprevious
patientdatafromthesystem.Toaccomplishthis,disconnect
thepatientcables,thendischargethepreviouspatient/end
thecase.
Thefollowingaregenericinstructionslistingthebasicstepsforstartingmonitoring.
Parameter-specicinstructionsaremoredetailedandshouldalwaysbefollowedas
well.
1.ConnectthepatienttotheCARESCAPEONEaccordingtothemeasurementsetup
requirementsintheparameter-specicchaptersofthisdocument.Thealarms
andparametersettingsbecomeactive.
2.Ifthestartupproleisnotsuitable,selectanotherprole.
3.Enterpatientdemographics.
4.Startthemeasurement.
5.Zeroinvasivepressurelines.Refertotheinvasivepressureschapterinthis
document.
6.Ifrequired,changetheparametersdisplayedonscreen.
7.Checkalarmlimitsandadjustifnecessary.

●TheCARESCAPEONEisdisplayingthemonitoringscreen.
●NomessagesdisplayindicatingtheCARESCAPEONEorCARESCAPEParameters
arenotfunctioning.
●Desiredparametersareselectedtoviewonthescreen.
●Alarmsignalsareworkingandcanbeseenandheardinyourcareenvironment.
●Requiredparametercalibrationsarecompleted.
