Defaultsettings
●Factorydefaultvalues:Permanentvaluesusedincaseoffailurethatallowthe
softwareapplicationtorecoverfromfailurebyrevertingtothesevaluesforsystem
operation.
Thecareunitsettingsresetvariesbysetting.Therearethreetypesofreset:
●Casereset/discharge:Caseisreset/patientisdischargedfromthemonitor.
●Coldstart:Start-upofthesoftwareapplicationafterthemonitorisshutdownfor
2hoursormore.
●Warmstart:Start-upofthesoftwareapplicationafterthemonitorisshutdownfor
lessthan2hours.
DEMOMODE
EnteringtheDEMOMODEispasswordprotected.TheDEMOMODEcanonlybe
activated(conrmed)ifthereisnoactivepatientmonitoringoccurring.
WhenyouexittheDEMOMODE,themonitorrestartswiththesamesettingsthat
wereusedintheactualmonitoringmodebeforeenteringtheDEMOMODE.Inother
words,anychangesmadetothesettingsintheDEMOMODEdonotaffecttheactual
monitoringmode.
NOTE
TheDEMOMODEisnotmeantforactualpatientmonitoring,it
isfordemonstrationpurposesonly.
ExitingtheDEMOMODE
Toavoidtheriskofmissedalarmsandlossofmonitoring,alwaysexittheDEMOMODE
whensimulatedmonitoringisnolongerneeded.Restartthemonitor,or:
1.SelectMonitorSetup>Defaults&Service.
2.SelectExitDEMO>Conrm.
Themonitorwillshutdownandrestartinthenormalmonitoringmodeutilizing
thedenedstartupprole.
Prolesettings
Prolesettingsarepasswordprotected.Prolesettingsareestablishedduring
installation/congurationofthemonitor.Instructionstoaccesstheprolesettingsare
providedinthisdocument.Theprolesettingfactorydefaultvaluesarealsoprovided.
Prolesettingsonlyapplytoaspecicprole.Prolesettingshavethefollowingvalues:
●Savedvalues:Valuesselectedandsavedduringconguration/installationofthe
monitortomeettheneedsofaparticularclinicalenvironment.
