Whyisthecuffre-inating
automatically?
Thecufftargetpressuremustbehigherthanthepatient’ssystolic
pressuretoobtainanaccuratesystolicanddiastolicmeasurement.
Ifasystolicbloodpressurecannotbefound,asystolicreadingis
searchedbyre-inatingthecufftoahigherpressure.Duringa
systolicsearch,themaximumcuffinationpressurewillnotexceed
thenormalpressurerangeofthecuff.Formoreinformation,refer
tothetechnicalspecications.
Acontrolmeasurementmaybetakingplace.IfthemeasuredNIBP
valueexceedsthealarmlimits,asinglelowpriorityalarmsounds
andanewmeasurementisautomaticallytaken.Ifthenewvalue
(thecontrolmeasurement)alsoexceedsthealarmlimitsthealarm
priorityescalatestomedium.InManualmodeandSTATmode
thereareatleastfoursecondsbetweentherstmeasurementand
thecontrolmeasurementforAdultandChildcuffs,eightseconds
forInfantcuffs.InAutomodethereareatleast30seconds
betweentherstmeasurementandthecontrolmeasurement.
UnexpectedNIBPreadings●Ensurethatthecorrectcuffsizeforthepatienthasbeen
selected.
●Checkthatthecuffispositionedcorrectly.
