DeactivatingtheSpO2probeoffalarm
ThisfeatureismeanttobeusedwhenendingSpO
2
monitoring.Itshouldnotbeused
duringactiveSpO
2
monitoring.ThissettingcanbeenabledinDefaultSetupandthe
settingispasswordprotected.TherearetwooptionstodeactivatetheSpO
2
probeoff
alarm,fromtheSpO
2
menuorusingtheaudiopausekey.Ifithasbeenenabled,there
willbeabuttonontheSpO2tabthatallowsyoutodeactivatethealarm:
1.SelecttheSpO
2
parameterwindow.
2.SelectSetup>Page1.
3.SelectDeactivateSpO2ProbeOff.
Ifdeactivationwiththeaudiopausekeyhasbeenenabled,SpO2probeoff
deactivationcanbeacknowledgedbyselecting
twice.
Whenthealarmisdeactivated,therewillbenoaudibleorvisualSpO2probeoffalarm
indications.ThealarmisautomaticallyreactivatedifSpO
2
vitalsignsaredetectedand
alarmconditionismetagain.
WARNING
WithdeactivatedSpO2probeoffalarm,keepthepatient
underclosesurveillance.

alarmpriorities
YoucanselectprioritiesfortheSpO2high,SpO2low,andSpO2probeoffalarms
throughAlarmsSetup>AlarmPriorities>OtherParameters.Thechoicesare
Low,Medium,High,andEscalating.ForSpO2highandSpO2low,Lowpriorityis
onlyavailableifithasbeenenabledduringcongurationintheCareUnitSettings.
ForSpO2probeoff,LowandMediumprioritiesareonlyavailableiftheyhave
beenenabledduringcongurationintheCareUnitSettings.Careunitsettings
