amountofdatarequiredformeasuringSpO

andpulseratedependingonthe
measurementconditions.Duringnormalmeasurementconditionsinthenormal
responsemode,theaveragingtimeis6to7seconds.
Duringdifcultmeasurementconditions,whichcanbecausedbylowperfusion,
motion,ambientlight,electrocautery,otherinterference,oracombinationofthese
factors,theOxiMaxalgorithmautomaticallyextendsthedynamicaveragingtime
requiredbeyond7seconds.
Iftheresultingdynamicaveragingtimeexceeds20seconds,alowsignalqualitystatus
isreported,whileSpO
2
andpulseratevaluescontinuetobeupdatedeverysecond.
Asthemeasurementconditionsbecomeevenmoredifcult,theamountofdata
requiredcontinuestoexpand.Ifdynamicaveragingtimereaches40seconds,aCheck
probestatusisreportedandthedevicewillreportdashesduringpulsetimeoutand
pulsesearchcondition.
