●Youcanselectthepatientinthehostmonitortocontinuethehostmonitor
patientcase.Thisoptionwillonlyappearifapatientisadmittedtothehost
monitor.Itisshownasthehostmonitorbednameplusthepatientnameand
MRNnumber.
●YoucanmergetheCARESCAPEONEpatientcasewiththehostmonitorpatient
case.Thisoptionisshownasthehostmonitorbedname+CSONE.
●YoucanselectNewPatienttodischargethepatientfromtheCARESCAPEONE,
deletingallpatientdataandhistory,andstartmonitoringanewpatient/case
atthehostmonitor
4.Ifneeded,reconnectanyparametersthatweredisconnectedduringtransport.
Transporttransfersettings
IfaCARESCAPEONEistakentoanotherunitandconnectedtoadifferenthostmonitor
asanacquisitiondevice,theCARESCAPEONEusesthereceivinghostmonitor’s
careunitsettings.Forexample,iftheCARESCAPEONEisdisconnectedfromahost
monitorintheICU,thecareunitsettingsusedduringtransportarethosefromtheICU
hostmonitor.IfthatsameCARESCAPEONEisthentakentotheORandconnected
toadifferenthostmonitorthere,uponconnectiontheCARESCAPEONEwillusethe
ORhostmonitor’scareunitsettings.Anychangesmadeduringtransportwhenthe
CARESCAPEONEisnotdockedtoahostmonitorarenotsavedwhentheCARESCAPE
ONEisconnectedtoanotherhostmonitor.
TherearelimitsontheamountofdatathattheCARESCAPEONEprovidestoadifferent
hostmonitoruponconnectionaftertransportfromanotherhostmonitor.The
transferredhistoryislimitedto36ECGandarrhythmiarelatedevents,10STevents,
and24hoursoftrendeddataexcludinghighresolutiontrends.

Transportsettings
ThefollowingsettingsaretransferredbetweentheCARESCAPEONEandthehost
monitorwhentheCARESCAPEONEisconnectedtothehostmonitor.
Thelistedsettingsaretransferredwhenpatientdataistransferred;eitherwhena
CARESCAPEONEwithanactivepatientcaseisconnectedtoanemptyhostmonitor
withnopatientcase,whenapatientcasefromaCARESCAPEONEisloadedtothe
hostmonitor,orwhenanactiveCARESCAPEONEpatientcaseismergedwithan
existinghostmonitorpatientcase.
Ifyoumakechangestoanyofthelistedsettingsonthehostmonitor,thechanges
aresynchronizedwiththeCARESCAPEONEaslongastheCARESCAPEONEremains
connectedtothehostmonitor.
