Ifliquidhasaccidentallyenteredthesystemoritsparts,
disconnectthepowercordfromthepowersupplyandhave
theequipmentservicedbyqualiedservicepersonnel.

DISCONNECTIONFROMMAINS.Whendisconnectingthe
devicefromthepowerline,removetheplugfromthewall
outletrst.Thenyoumaydisconnectthepowercordfromthe
device.Ifyoudonotobservethissequence,thereisarisk
ofcomingintocontactwithlinevoltagebyinsertingmetal
objects,suchasthepinsofleadwires,intothesocketsofthe
powercordbymistake.

INTRACARDIACAPPLICATION.Whenapplyingdevices
intracardially,electricallyconductivecontactwithparts
connectedtotheheart(pressuretransducers,metaltube
connectionsandstopcocks,guidewires,etc.)mustbeavoided
inallcases.Topreventelectricalcontact,werecommend
thefollowing:
●alwayswearisolatingrubbergloves,
●keeppartsthatareconductivelyconnectedtotheheart
isolatedfromground,
●ifpossible,donotusetubettingsorstopcocksmadeof
metal.

Ifanerrormessageappearsduringoperation,itisthelicensed
medicalpractitioner’sresponsibilitytodecidewhetherthe
deviceisstillsuitableforpatientmonitoring.Asageneralrule,
monitoringshouldonlycontinueinextremelyurgentcases
andunderthedirectsupervisionofalicensedhealthcare
practitioner.Thedevicemustberepairedbeforebeing
usedagainonapatient.Ifanerrormessageappearsafter
power-up,thedevicemustberepairedbeforebeingusedon
apatient.
