MAINTENANCE
Apply locl<ing agent to the oil centrifugal filter cover bolt

Install the oil centrifugal filler cover

Tighten Ihe bolls to the specifted torque.

Inspect and adjust the idle speed after all olher ,

inspection and adjustment.
Connect a tachometer.
Warm up the engine for about

Amputation hazard. Never inspect or adjust
the
drive chain while the
DRIVE CHAIN SLACK INSPECTION
Turn the ignition switch OFF, place the motorcycle on
its side stand and shift the transmission into neutral.
Check the slack
in
the drive chain lower run midway
between the sprockets.
