12. INSERT the number of checked bags in the rear baggage com-
partment.
13. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the AFT LB field.
14. INSERT pounds of cargo in the rear baggage compartment.
15. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the POD CK
field.
16. INSERT the number of checked bags in the pod.
17. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the POD LB
field.
18. INSERT pounds of cargo in the pod.
19. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the FUEL field.
20. INSERT pounds of fuel on board.
21. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the TAXI field.
22. INSERT the estimated pounds of fuel for taxi.
23. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the BURN field.
24. INSERT the estimated pounds of fuel used for the flight.
25. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to the TEMP field.
26. REVIEW the value in the temperature field or INSERT a value for
temperature. Enter a + or -, followed by one, two or three digits.
The + sign is omitted if three digits are entered. Temperature is
in degrees Celsius.
27. ENTER Key - DEPRESS. The cursor moves to TRANSMIT.
28. ENTER Key - DEPRESS to transmit weight and balance data via
the data link. The AFIS MENU Page will then be displayed.
NOTE: Data will not be deleted after transmission. If a DATA LINK
DISABLED message appears, the data link is not available. Wait for
TRANSMIT to appear or notify maintenance of the problem.
