2.2.3 ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
2.2.3.1 Main Cable
The main cable of GAPS (reference 930 0243A-xx) is connected to the acoustic antenna and
to the GAPS BOX. Find below the description of the 21 pins MCOM21F SUBCONN
connector and the 23 pins UT061823P-H SOURIAU connector (see Table 2).

Minimal bending radius 75 mm
Maximum pulling strength 150 N
Insulation
Values
Tests are performed at 500 VDC for conductor to conductor, conductor to shield and
conductor to body (SOURIAU). Accepted result above 200 MΩ. All measured values are
above or equal to 500 MOhm.
SUBCONN
Connector
Maximal diameter: 42 mm (diameter of the red locking)
Minimal rigid length with dummy plug: 200 mm
Minimal rigid length without dummy plug: 150 mm
SOURIAU
Connector
Maximal diameter: 45 mm, molding diameter thicker than the plug
Minimal rigid length plug and molding: 170 mm
To remove the connector: hold the molding, push the connector toward the box and unscrew at
the same time. If you do not push the connector, the unscrewing is difficult.
