7. Unscrew (counterclockwise) stainless conduit
from tiller handle.

8. Pull throttle cable from tiller handle.

9. Remove cover plate and gasket from tiller handle.
10. Remove bolt from throttle friction assembly.

11. Remove throttle arm, gear assembly and friction
device from tiller handle. Slide gear cover and fric-
tion device off of throttle arm.
