Apple CarPlay
About the Apple CarPlay function
You can use Apple CarPlay when an Apple CarPlay compatible iPhone is connected to
this device via Bluetooth or USB.
• When connecting via USB for the first time, a message appears on the screen when
you connect your iPhone to the unit via USB. Please touch "Yes".
• When using this function via Bluetooth, it must be paired to an iPhone in the
Bluetooth settings. See "Bluetooth Settings" on page 3-18 for details about
Bluetooth settings.
NOTE
• iPhone applications may not display on this unit's screen depending on the
application's specifications.
• Check the Apple CarPlay support website for more information about Apple
CarPlay.
• Due to changes to the device's specifications, differences may arise between the
contents of the manual and the device's functionality.
• If the model has navigation, the map screen displayed is the one set immediately
beforehand.
• Apple CarPlay may not be available in your country or region.

Supported devices
Apple CarPlay required an iPhone 5 or newer.
NOTE
• Make sure your phone is updated with the latest version of iOS.
• This unit may not be compatible with all iPhone devices or iOS version.
