REAR CAMERA
NOTE
• Any moisture, such as rain and condensation, on the camera may result in a poor
video image being displayed.
• Do not use the rear camera in the following conditions:
− On frozen, slippery, or snow-covered road
− On uneven roads, such as slopes
− When the trunk or rear door is not completely closed
− When tire chains or temporary tires are being used
• The position and distance of the person or obstacle displayed on the screen is
different from the actual position and distance because of the characteristics of the
camera lens.
• If the temperature changes rapidly, such as after spilling hot water on the camera
in cold weather, the rear camera may not operate correctly.
• When you shift into reverse gear, the screen turns black for a moment but will
quickly display a stable image.
• When the camera is exposed to bright light, such as sunlight or headlights, a
vertical white band may appear.
• If the camera is used for an extended period, white spots or vertical lines appear
as the temperature rises. These phenomena are caused by design characteristics
of the CCD, and are a part of normal operation.
• The photographs in this manual are only examples. The captured range displayed
on the screen varies depending on the vehicle model and road conditions.
