CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL PRINTER
Procedure
1. Connect an external printer to the Integritest Exacta instrument with a standard parallel
cable.
2. Make sure both the printer and the instrument are off.
3. Connect the 25-pin connector to the parallel port of the instrument. (See Figure 3-
Back Panel Diagram on page 26. Parallel port is “F”).
4. Connect the Centronics
®
connector to the printer.
5. Turn on the printer; then turn on the Integritest instrument.
6. External printers require manual installation from the Operating System control panel.

Printers may be installed by Windows NT qualified personnel according to the
manufacturers specifications.
Note: Keep in mind that the Exacta requires floppy disk installation for any printer drivers
that may be required. See Instrument Setup and Step 3. Choosing the Default Printer, on page
87 for details.
