EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE & SAFETY
This instrument contains no user-serviceable parts. The external power cord and the spare
components listed in the Calibration and Maintenance section, however, can be replaced as
necessary.
Safety Warnings
This instrument contains no user-serviceable parts. Only authorized service personnel should
open the unit. Obey all warning labels. Do not touch the power supply. If you do not follow
these instructions you may risk electric shock.
Two identical warning labels are located inside of the instrument in areas adjacent to the
power supply. These labels use an orange background as a warning (conforming to a
standard of red for danger, orange for warning, and yellow for caution).
The warning labels depict:
• the severity of the risk
not fatal, but uncomfortable
• the nature of the risk
electric shock
• to avoid the risk
do not touch the power supply

In addition, a yellow caution label, designed to reduce the chance of entry into the unit,
conforms with international standards. Symbols related to pneumatic and electric connectors
are identified on the side and rear panels.
