Integritest Exacta Filter Integrity Test Instrument
Operating and Maintenance Manual Maintenance and Calibration 195
INTERNAL LEAK TESTING
The Integritest instrument includes an automated procedure that leak tests the pneumatic
module. It ensures that the manifold (including the internal tank), valves, and fittings do not
have gas leaks that compromise the integrity test measurements.
Leak Testing Criteria
Note: The pneumatic system and individual components must have a pressure loss of
0.01 psi or less during the test period.
Note: Verify that the temperature plug is installed (See Item E, Figure 2, page 25).
Note: The leak test time is adjusted based on the inlet gas pressure. The higher the test
pressure, the shorter the test is.
Leak Test Setup
Connect the supplied Loop-Back Tubing Assembly (Part Number XITXLBTA). Note
that this assembly will only connect to ports C and D of Figure 4 (see page 28).
Connect the Integritest Exacta inlet tubing to the instrument and to a regulated
compressed gas (nitrogen or air) source.
Set the inlet gas pressure between 35–100 psi (241-689kPa.).
Leak Test Procedure
1. From the Main Menu Screen, click
to access the Setup-Calibration Screens
2. Click Tab F5 to open the Leak Testing Screen (Figure 77)
