Value Decision Action
>1.82 x variance A t test on residuals is
conducted on the
calibration coefficients
If the t test fails, the
calibration coefficients (for
slope & the zero intercept)
are automatically adjusted.
If the t test passes, the
transducer(s) need
replacement or factory
adjustment. The unit is
locked out from performing
tests.
Recommended Reference Pressure Gauge
The reference gauge for External Pressure Calibrations must have the following characteristics:
NIST traceable (or equivalent)
0.02% accurate, Full Scale
0–100 psig
Note: You can order a reference gauge direct from Millipore, catalogue no. XITXSP114.
Calibration Setup
1. Connect the Integritest Exact inlet tubing to the instrument and to a regulated
compressed gas (nitrogen or air) source.
2. Set the inlet gas pressure to 100 psig.
3. Remove the disk test adapter, water trap and instrument valve.
4. Connect the reference pressure gauge to the Integritest Exacta Outlet port.
5. Make sure that the reference gauge is properly zeroed before continuing with
procedure.
Note: Use of long tubing sets or multiple fittings may degrade the accuracy of the
referee gauge. Millipore recommends that a tubing set no more than 60cm (2ft.) in length with
no additional fittings be used for this purpose.
