7Installation Instructions
The information contained in this chapter should enable the MP60/MP70 to be installed ready for use
(the preparation and planning should be adhered to as specified in the Site Preparation section. Safety
checks and inspection procedures for mounts are explained in the Testing and Maintenance Section and
configuration of the system is explained in the Configuration Guide.
Unpacking the Equipment
Your equipment will arrive in a carton similar to the ones pictured below. All components of the
monitoring system are consolidated into a single packing crate. The contents of this crate depend on
the options you have purchased. In addition to the monitor it can contain the following:
• MMS and user manuals
• FMS
• Parameter modules
• Measurement server extensions and accessories

In the unlikely event of a defect on arrival, please keep the packing materials until you have completed
the initial inspection.
