Replacement
To replace the fan (refer to Figure 76 and Figure 77):
1 Ensure that the Module is switched off and isolated from the mains power supply.
Replace the fan and connecting cable.

Replace the four screws and washers (3) that secure the fan into the back panel of the module.
3 Snap the twisted pair from the fan into the cable clip (2) securing the twisted pairs that connect the
IR measurement head with the main PC board.
4 Replace the connector (1) to the main PC board.
5 Replace the top cover of the module.
Now perform the performance checks described in the “Test and Inspection Matrix” on page 262.
