Connecting Non-Medical Devices
The standard IEC-60601-1-1 applies to any combination of medical and non-medical devices, where
at least one is a medical device.
WARNING Do not use an external device in the patient vicinity if it is not isolated. External devices in the patient
vicinity must be powered from an isolation transformer and not directly from the mains power supply.

NOTE The site planning requirements, with the exception of the cabling, must be provided by the device
manufacturer, if the remote device is not purchased from Philips.
