Extension Unit Advanced
The Extension Unit Advanced can be ordered pre-configured or customer-specific in
numerous variants and is mounted below a SIMATIC PRO device for pedestal (extendable,
flange bottom) or for support arm (extendable, round tube).
The Extension Unit Advanced for PROFINET or PROFIsafe connections is available with one or
more KP12 keypads. Free slots can be equipped with Standard/Advanced and Safety operator
controls.
Note
Only operator controls with Siemens approval may be installed in the Extension Unit.
