Note: The touching areas of the two cogwheels are greased with HF 500. The grease is very
ductile. The sparepart Tension gear Hz/V (79226035) is greased with HF 500. In this case follow
item 2 with distortion of one tooth.
Only some old instruments can have weake grease between the two cogwheels and the distortion
of the cogwheels is 3 teeth. In this case follow item 2 but with distortion of three teeth. Otherwise
you can exchange the Tension gear Hz/V (79226035).
2 Clamp the Tension
gear.
A. Mark the
superposed cogs on
steel and brass
wheel, when the
springs tense up.
B. Distort the Tension
gear by help of a
plier with a
displacement of
one tooth.
C. Plug the Clamping
tool in the hole and
fix the tension of
the Tension gear.
D. Unscrew the handle
of the Clamping
tool.
E. Remount the Slip
ring board with 3
screws, see page 5-
48.
The brass cogwheel
has to turn clockwise.
In case of loss the
preload of the
Tension gear or
demounted coarse
drive motor.
