Connecting an RS-232 Interface
There are two possible configurations for connecting to an RS-232 host. The DS7708 connects directly to the
host computer; and an auxiliary scanner can connect to the DS7708. Both configurations require a power
supply; 5 volt without an auxiliary scanner, and 12 volt with an auxiliary scanner.
