Unidentified alarm
detected
UNKALM A minor alarm condition exists in
the shelf.
1. Wait approximately 1 min for the
condition to clear.
2. If the condition does not clear,
remove, then insert, the indicated
failed card.
3. If the condition does not clear,
replace the card.
Events
CLK active* CLKACTV The indicated clock card is the
synchronization signal source for
all output cards.
None required.
CLK
communications
failure*
CLKNCOM A communications error exists
between the clock cards.
1. Remove, then insert, the indicated
clock card.
2. If the condition does not clear,
replace the card.
CLK disagree on
channel quality*
CLKDISA The clock cards are reporting
different quality levels for the same
reference input.
1. Verify the input signal quality.
2. Use the Initialize Register (INIT-REG)
command to restart the
measurements.
3. Set the input signal format to the
correct setting if needed (ED-
SYNC::CLK-a:<ctag>:::ESF=b;,
where a is the input channel number
of the clock card, and b is Y or N,
where Y is ESF and N is D4).
4. If the condition does not clear,
replace the clock card.
Drift Exceeds
Limits*
SNDRIFT The frequency of an input signal, as
compared to the clock oscillator,
has drifted beyond the acceptable
limits.
1. Investigate the upstream signal
quality.
2. Verify that highest quality input is
active.
3. Wait 3 days for the event to clear.
4. Remove, then insert, the indicated
clock card.
5. If the condition does not clear,
replace the card.
Expansion CLK
inserted
EXCLKIN An expansion controller card has
been inserted into the indicated
controller card location (EC1 or
EC2) on the indicated expansion
shelf.
None required.
