Testing
Luminaire Self-Tests
The luminaire is capable of running self tests by using the TEST menu functions. For detailed
instructions regarding the luminaire’s self-test function, refer to the VL3500™ Wash Luminaire
User’s Manual (02.9686.0001).
Calibration Sequence
The following is an outline of the luminaire’s standard calibration sequence:

Auto Recalibration
Most mechanisms with sensors will check their sensor when at a zero position, if the sensor is not
detected within 3 seconds, the mechanism will recalibrate. This applies to all except pan and tilt, and
zoom. Pan and tilt are corrected continuously if required by encoders fitted to the motor shaft.
Note: Colors (CTO and CYM) only auto recalibrate when the dimmer has been closed for 3 seconds.
