NETWORK > WIRED IP PROTOCOL
This parameter indicates if the user (permanent) or the server (dynamic) selects the wired print server’s
IP address. When a dynamic option is chosen, this parameter tells the method(s) by which this print server
receives the IP address from the server. See IP Address Changing on page 245 for additional
information.
Important • You must reset the print server to allow changes to the network settings to take effect.
Accepted values:
• ALL
• GLEANING ONLY
• RARP
• BOOTP
• DHCP
• DHCP & BOOTP
• PERMANENT
