Fit the magnetic foot of the dial indicator
on the measuring bracket.

Place the tip of the dial indicator on the
marking, as shown in the figure.

Verify that axis 6 is put in calibration posi-
tion.

Set the dial indicator to zero.9

Apply load F=40N with a dynamometer on
the opposite side of the dial indicator, as
shown in the figure.
Remove the load and make a note of the
value from the dynamometer, as value b1.
