5.2.6.4 Measurement in Sample Hold
The sample hold is available only when the source mode is pulse mode, pulse sweep mode or low-resis-
tance measurement pulse source mode. Set the sample hold using the integration time parameter.
The measurement conditions in the sample hold are as follows:
• Source mode : Pulse mode, pulse sweep mode or
low-resistance measurement pulse mode only
• Integration time : 100 s
• Measurement timing : Holds immediately before pulse falling edge (pulse complete).
• Limit on executable period time : 600 ms max.
Sample hold measurement operation for pulse source is shown below.
Figure 5-12 Measurement in Sample Hold
Beware of the following points when setting the sample hold.
• When the source mode is changed to DC mode or DC sweep mode, the sample hold is released and
the integration time parameter becomes 100 s.
• When the period time is set beyond 600 ms, an error message appears at the following timing. In this
case, verify the setting range.
• When the output status is switched from Standby to Operate or Suspend
• When the period time is changed in Operate or Suspend status
NOTE: No limit detection information is added to measured values in the sample hold.
* The measurement delay time (Td) is ignored in the sample hold.
Tds: Source delay time
Tp: Period time
Tw: Pulse width
Tit: Integration time (100 µs)
Tad: AD conversion time
Tk: Internal processing time
Tm: 20 µs + Tit + Tad + Tk
