6.3.1 Overview
GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) allows external control of the 6240B measurement function set-
tings, parameter settings and reading data, making it simple to configure an automated measurement sys-
tem.
As GPIB signals from the 6240B are electrically isolated inside the unit from the measurement signal sys-
tem, the connection of external devices does not affect the measured values.
The remote commands are the same as with USB.

Logic level: Logical 0 (High) +2.4 V min.
Logical 1 (Low) +0.4 V max.
