This chapter describes the application examples of the 6240.
3.1 Diode Measurement
This section describes an example of measuring diode forward voltage (VF) using pulse current.
NOTE: Use 4-wire connection for accurate measurement of the forward voltage.
The measurement conditions are described below.
VF measurement: Use pulse current to measure the forward voltage (VF) at 100 mA to avoid the influence
of the heat. Also, use NULL calculation to compensate for the error in cable voltage drop
in 2-wire connection.
