9.5.1 How to Calculate Accuracy for Current Source, Current Measurement and
Current Limiter
Example)Calculating the accuracy in current source of 3 mA (3 mA range) with resistance of 1 k
connected
The accuracy formula in the current source range of 3 mA is as follows:
The output voltage Vo is 3V. Therefore,
Accuracy = (% of setting + A + A Vo / 1 V )
= (3 mA
0.03 % + 800 nA + 30 nA 3 V / 1 V)
=
1.79 A
Thus, the accuracy in current source of 3 mA (3 mA range) is specified between 2.9982 mA to 3.0018 mA.
NOTE: Vo in the 1-day stability, current limiter and temperature coefficient for voltage source all indicates volt-
age between output terminals.
