2. Voltage source
The settling time (Ts) of the 6240B is defined by the voltage source value (Vs), the current limit value
DIL (digits), and the settling time setting (Fast/Slow), as shown below.
Set the measurement delay (Td) to Ts or over.
• Fast mode
Current limiter range is 300 A to 4 A:
Ts=70+(Vs  30000/DIL) [s]
Current limiter range is 30 A:
Ts=(70+(Vs  30000/DIL))  3 [s]
•Slow mode
Current limiter range is 300 A to 4 A:
Ts=200+(Vs  100000/DIL) [s]
Current limiter range is 30 A:
Ts=(200+(Vs  100000/DIL))  2 [s]
