ETA. ETA stands for Estimated Time
of Arrival.
! In the Settings menu, select the ETA
setting
entry.
! Confirm your selection by pressing
the rotary control/push button .
! You may now select Sports car, Car,
Van or Set freečy.
•
Sports car
This setting indicates to the Cascade
that you tend to drive rather quickly.
An earlier ETA is calculated.
•
Car
This is the default setting. It offers
sufficiently accurate calculation of the
ETA for most drivers.
•
Van
This setting indicates to the Cascade
that you will need a little longer for the
planned route. This setting could be
selected, for example, for a slower
vehicle or in dense traffic areas.
•
Set freečy
Select this option to modify the calcu-
lation of the ETA to suit your require-
ments.
! Turn the rotary control/push button
to activate the required setting ( ).
Note:
On routes with variable speed limits
(dependent on weather conditions, time
of day etc.) a symbol with the text
Dyn.
or a speed with an underscore (e.g.:
“80
”) draws the driver's attention to the
fact that the speed limit is variable.
As temporary speed limits (e.g. due to road
works) are usually short-lived, these have
not been stored in the navigation data.
Example of a speed limit:
Example of a dynamic speed limit:

2091
2092
Note:
Only one of the two settings may be
active ( ) at the same time.
