• Plasma Standard 4 ml solution made from 1 ml of the plasma from the
centrifuged tagged RBC suspension diluted with water to
100 ml
• Room Background No samples in the Well
• Whole Blood Sample 4 ml of blood withdrawn from the patient ten to twenty
minutes post injection.
• Plasma Sample 4 ml of plasma from the blood withdrawn ten to twenty
minutes post injection.
Perform each measurement according to the instructions in CHAPTER 14: LAB TESTS:
SETUP.
After the plasma sample counts have been accepted, the RBC Volume (Cr51) Results
Screen (
Figure 16-4) will appear.
