To print the results press the PRINT [P] key. To return to the Main Plasma Volume (I125)
Test Screen press the F4 [DONE] key. If you press the F4 [DONE] key before printing, you
will be reminded that the data will be deleted. The message “Data will be deleted. OK? Y or
N” will appear on the display. At this point you may answer “N” and go back and print the
results before deleting the data. The results of the test are not saved. Patient demographics
are saved.
Note: A comparison of the radioactive hematocrit with the microhematocrit will give an
indication of the accuracy of the procedure and calculations.
The standard, blood, and plasma counts must be taken under identical sample volume and
geometric conditions relative to the detector crystal or else the difference accounted for in the
computations by an appropriate correction factor.
Figure 16-9 is a sample Blood Volume (I125 Albumin) Test printout.
