forward-delay (PVRST)
To set the forward-delay time for the bridge, use the forward-delay command in PVRST configuration
submode. To undo the setting, use the no form of this command.

Syntax Description
Bridge forward delay time in seconds. The range is from 4 to 30.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.

Examples
This example shows how to set the forward-delay parameter for the bridge to 20:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config)# spanning-tree pvrst st1
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:router(config-pvrst)# forward-delay 20
